I graduated from University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, but the call of Hollywood brought me to Los Angeles. In the following eight years I honed my skills directing, shooting, and editing commercial projects for a diversity of fashion and luxury brands including Max Mara, Tiffany & Co., Tommy Bahama, J. Crew, Longines and others.

"Let's play jazz."

I love to improvise. I'm a social media comedy creator for brands like Keurig-Dr. Pepper with over 4 million views. Lacking a script when I directed a promotion for Tiffany & Co's Men's pop-up shop in NYC featuring the inimitable and very tall Jeff Goldblum, Jeff and I gleefully ad-libbed our way around the store.

My docu-stories fulfill my curiosity for interrogating the world around us. In 2021, amidst COVID shutdowns, I traveled to Greenville, CA to document the terrifying and destructive Dixie Fire raging across northern California. Our film promoting a relief fund for the town earned an Addy award. The sights and sounds, smells and stories from the town and its people have been rendered indelible in my mind. I'll never forget the firefighter who told me with tears in his eyes that the hardest part of his job was to be thanked for his service outside the local coffee shop, only to watch helplessly as building after building was consumed by fire.

I combine my background in electrical engineering and affection for the almighty photon to create handmade, self-illuminated, animated electric stained glass light sculptures for home interiors. They are designed to delight and captivate, to recapture the innocence and wonder of youth. After all, children are the ultimate improvisers, and it's my hope that we can all keep that spark alive, if we only give ourselves permission.
